Collections and seasons

A Collection groups Styles for a season, a drop, or a capsule, and gives you cohort reporting and bulk lifecycle tooling over that group. This page covers creating a Collection and tagging Styles into it.

Create a Collection​

Open Collections and choose New to open the Collection Card.

  1. Enter a Code and Display Name, and set Brand Code (mandatory; once set, it can never be cleared again).
  2. Set Type: Seasonal, Drop, Capsule, Core, or Other. This is independent of Status, and is used purely for cohort reporting.
  3. Set Season Tag if wanted, for example SS26.
  4. Set Launch Date and, optionally, EOL Date (which cannot be earlier than Launch Date).
  5. If Type is Drop, set Release Window Start and Release Window End; both are mandatory for a Drop and End cannot be earlier than Start. Every other Type leaves these blank.

Result: the Collection is created with a Status of Concept.

Tag Styles into a Collection​

On the Collection Card, go to Styles.

  1. Add a row, choosing a Style Code. Leave Colour Code blank to tag the whole Style into this Collection, or set it to scope the tag to one colourway only.
  2. Set Tag Type to Launch (the Style's original drop into this Collection) or Re-Show (a later re-merchandising, for example a restock, that should not recount toward the original Launch's sell-through figures).
  3. Optionally set Effective From and Effective To to window when the tag counts toward attribution.

A single Style can carry more than one tag into the same Collection, for example one whole-Style tag plus a separate per-Colour tag if one colourway launches on a different date. Filter buttons above the list (Show All, Launch Only, Re-Show Only) narrow the view.

If a Style sits in more than one active Collection at once, its inventory, on-order, and open-order figures are split between them by default (equal share), unless an Attribution Weight is set on the Style's own Collections tab to override the split. Style and SKU counts, by contrast, are never split; a Style tagged into three Collections counts in full in every one of them.
