Rollups and cloning
Rollups
Run Refresh Rollups on the Collection Card to recalculate its summary tiles: Style Count, Launch Style Count, Re-Show Style Count, Active Style Count, Discontinued Style Count, SKU Count, On-Hand Qty, On-Order Qty, Open Sales Order Qty, and Open Sales Orders. Run this after changes the page has not automatically picked up.
An External Analytics group (Sell-Through % and Forecast Qty) is a defined seam for an external analytics connector to fill in. Nothing ships this data out of the box, so this group stays hidden entirely on a standard installation rather than showing zeroes.
Clone a Collection for next season
Run Clone Collection on the source Collection Card.
- On the Clone Collection dialog, enter a New Code (must not already exist) and New Display Name. Season Tag, Launch Date, and EOL Date are left blank and must be entered fresh; Brand Code and Notes copy across automatically.
- Set a Default Tag Type and run Apply Default Tag Type to overwrite the Tag Type on every carried-over Style row in one action, useful when cloning into a Collection that is a re-release rather than a fresh launch.
- On the Styles to Carry Over subform, every Style tagged into the source Collection is listed with Carry Over ticked by default; untick any Style that should not come across, and adjust its Tag Type individually if needed.
Result: a new Collection is created with Status reset to Concept regardless of the source's status, carrying over only the ticked Styles as fresh tags (their Effective From and To dates and notes are not carried across). Inventory and lifecycle history are never carried; the clone never touches released Items.
