Certifications and tags

Certifications​

On the Style Card, go to Certifications.

  1. Add a row, choosing a Certification Type from the master.
  2. Optionally set Colour Code to scope the certification to a single colourway (blank means the whole Style).
  3. Enter the Certificate Identifier, Issuing Body, Issue Date, Expiry Date, and a Document URL.

Expiry Date cannot be earlier than Issue Date. A certification expiring within the configured warning window (see Configure Apparel PIM Setup, default 60 days), including one already expired, flags its Style on the Certifications Expiring cue on the Apparel role centre. Only a certification with a future Expiry Date is included in outbound e-commerce payloads; one with no Expiry Date entered never ships to a storefront.

Web tags and translations​

On the Style Card, go to Web Tags.

  1. Add a row, choosing a Tag Code from the Tag Catalogue. Tag Description fills in automatically. Leave Colour Code blank to apply the tag to the whole Style, or set it to scope the tag to one colourway.
  2. To use a tag that is not in the catalogue, you need the dedicated free-tag permission. Without it, an uncatalogued tag is rejected: "Web tag X is not in the Tag Catalogue. Add it to the catalogue first, or ask an administrator for the free-tag permission to enter ad-hoc tags." With the permission, the tag is accepted and flagged Is Free Tag, but is not automatically added to the catalogue; it stays visibly ad hoc until someone deliberately promotes or removes it.

For a translatable attribute, run Translations from the Style-level attribute grid and enter a value per configured Storefront Language. A requested language with no translation entered falls back to the default value.
